Off the Clock
I have a son, Maxwell, who was born in 2016. My husband, Brad, and I love spending time with him. He he loves being outside and loves to take nature walks so we can often be found attempting to follow him "off-trail" as he explores to his heart's content.
I trained for and participated in full- and half-distance triathlons prior to my son being born; and while I still enjoy completing triathlons, I now typically stick to shorter distances and "fun" runs. Against my own best judgement, I occasionally come out of retirement and play in a rugby game here and there; I also return to my hometown in the Upper Peninsula during the summer to play softball with a team I've been playing with since I was fifteen years old.
Each summer I ride in the Wish-a-Mile 300-mile bike ride from Traverse City to the Eaton Proving Grounds. This ride raises money for the Michigan Make-a-Wish foundation. I am a member of Team Alex, who rides in memory of Alex Graham. For more information about Team Alex or the Wish-a-Mile ride, you can see this website .
